Today, 26/11/2025, Giving Heart Foundation
Uganda has visited St. Kizito Primary School in Kibiri for an
uplifting and interactive session on self-esteem and kindness.
The pupils were filled with excitement as they learned about the
power of believing in themselves and treating others with love and kindness.
Our team engaged the pupils in simple, relatable
conversations that helped them understand what self-esteem really means: knowing
that you are valuable, capable, and enough just as you are. Through
stories, questions, and group activities, the children learned how positive
self-talk, confidence, and recognizing their strengths can shape their future.
We also explored kindness—how small acts of
love, respect, and compassion can change someone’s day and even uplift the
entire school community. The pupils shared touching examples of how they help
at home, support classmates, and treat one another with care.
The session ended with joyful interactions,
laughter, and a renewed sense of unity among the learners. Moments like these
strengthen our mission as Giving Heart Foundation Uganda: to nurture
confident, caring, and empowered young people who will grow into responsible
citizens.
We are grateful to the administration and
teachers of St. Kizito Primary School Kibiri for welcoming us and for believing
in the importance of emotional wellbeing in education.
Together, we continue to help hearts grow stronger.
