Keeping 70 Children in School: Education Support in Kenjojo

At Giving Heart Foundation, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn and build a better future — no matter their background.

Right now, we are supporting 70 learners who are at risk of dropping out due to financial hardship:

·       50 pupils at Kyembogo Primary School

·       20 students at St. Joseph’s Hill, Kenjojo

These children are eager to learn, but many families cannot afford the basic costs of education.

What They Need

Most of these learners cannot afford school fees and requirements.

The children we support need help with:

• School fees
• Uniforms, shoes, and socks
• Scholastic materials (books, pens, and notebooks)
• Sanitary pads and hygiene essentials
• Lunch and basic nutrition support

Some learners miss school because they lack fees, while others attend but struggle to learn without materials.

Our Mission

We are working to ensure these children can stay in school, learn confidently, and complete their education.

When a child stays in school, they gain safety, confidence, and the chance to break the cycle of poverty.
