From 1st to 3rd December 2025, the Giving Heart Foundation Uganda carried out a heartfelt outreach to the elderly in Kyenjojo; an experience that reminded us of the deep power of compassion, presence, and genuine human connection.

In the remote villages of Kyembogo Subcounty, many elderly people wake up each day with very little support and fading physical strength. Yet their hearts remain warm and filled with hope. Their gratitude for even the smallest act of kindness is something that will stays with us. 

We reached 20 elderly households, one health centre, and five groups of young children; providing home-use items, clothes, and scholastic materials to support their daily needs.

Every smile, every shared moment, and every whispered “thank you” reminded us why this mission matters so deeply.
