At Giving Heart Foundation, we believe every child deserves to learn in clean, safe and healthy environment. sadly many schools still lack proper toilets, clean water  and basic hygiene facilities thus putting students at risk of disease, absenteeism, and low academic performance.

Why we  do this;

• Health concern: to prevent spread of diseases that are associated with peer sanitation like diarrhea, typhoid, and cholera.
• Dignity and confidence: clean toilets and washing stations protect children's privacy and boost their self-esteem.

 Our approach 

• Building and renovating toilets.
• installing hand wash stations equipped with soap and clean water.
• Encourage hygiene education in schools by carrying out outreaches.

Our impact so far.

• we have installed 10  handwashing stations in rural schools of Nakaseke  district.
• we have distributed 400 hygiene kits to students including soap and pads.
• we have conducted 5 successful outreaches and sanitation and personal hygiene.
